I am thrilled that I found Magic Scissors through Angie’s List.  Even though I can do minor alterations such as hemming and hand sewing I don’t have the time or skill to do much more.  The staff is very professional and have the items done when promised or before.  In the spring they altered a prom dress for my daughter as well as a business suit and jacket.  They fit her perfectly.  I have since returned with more items of clothing and would recommend them to anyone who needs fine alterations.  They have recently moved closer to I 75 which makes it very convenient for me; traveling from Parrish.

I really liked the way the individual marked the alterations to be made. She used safety pins and I was really able to tell up front that the clothing would fit properly. She disclosed the pricing very clearly before I left and I think the cost is very reasonable for the service. I have already taken more items to be altered, so I would definitely go there again.

They have done many alterations. I have been going there for about 5 years. They can do all kinds of alterations in any fabric.

Had 2 suits altered to make sleeves 3/4 length. Also had 2 pairs of pants hemmed and a pair of jeans. The work completed was meticulous. I was very happy with the service offered, they took time to carefully mark everything and make sure it was what I wanted and the outcome was great. Pricing was fair. Turn around time was one week for the entire order. I was especially impressed with the jeans I had shortened, they used a hem that totally matched the original one, so you can’t even tell they were altered. I am so glad to have found them and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

I used Magic Scissors Alterations LLC about a month ago. They did a pant alteration and sew jacket alteration.
The service was done quickly and the alterations were done very well. They were courteous and knowledgeable. I would use them again.

I am relieved that I finally found an expert tailor that perfectly altered an expensive suit to accommodate my weight loss. I will bringing many more items that need to be altered and am confident that they will have the same attention to detail that Magic Scissors provides.
The lady who handled the measurements really knows her business which was evident in the results. I was also assured that specific suit alterations can be done, which I found was not offered at other tailor shops.
